Where The Name Comes From

Named After The Person Who Brought Us Back

GRETA is named after our former team principal, who founded City St George's Formula Student team from scratch and led us to Silverstone as a Concept entry in the 2024/25 season, our first appearance in seven years. They stayed on as a supervisor through the following season, guiding the team as we grew from concept to competitor, work that culminated in our first competition car. GRETA carries their name in recognition of everything they built to get us here.

How The Competition Went

Our First Weekend Back

Our first competition back after seven years away was a blur. Between late nights rehearsing our business plan presentation, tracking down scrutineers for advice and last-minute answers, and scoping out how the rest of the paddock did things, the schedule barely let up. We weren't able to get into the dynamic events this time round, but what we picked up on the ground was invaluable. We're taking everything we learned into next year, and we believe we've got what it takes to come back even stronger.
